Today’s Topic: It Is Your Father’s Pleasure
Scripture: “So don’t ever be afraid, dearest friends! Your loving Father joyously gives you his kingdom with all its promises!” – Luke 12:32, TPT
Today’s Word
Your Heavenly Father says you’re one of a kind, a prized possession. Don’t go through life feeling inferior, not up to par, not attractive. Have a receiving mindset. “God, I receive what You say about me. I receive Your approval. I receive Your love. Thank You that You have accepted me, that I am worthy, I am valuable, I am a masterpiece.” The Scripture says it is the Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
That means it gives God great joy to bless you, to forgive you, to show you favor. But there’s a condition: Will you receive the gifts? Will you believe that you’re worthy, you’re approved, you’re valuable, you’re blessed, you’re favored? Or are you pushing away all the gifts, thinking you don’t deserve them, that you could never get well, never have abundance, never feel attractive?
No, if you want to make God happy, if you want to make Him smile, have a receiving mindset. Start accepting the gifts. Start accepting His promises. You haven’t seen, heard, or imagined what He has in store for you.
Prayer For Today
“Father, thank You that You joyously give me Your kingdom with all the promises in Your Word. Thank You that I can come and receive Your gifts of favor, forgiveness, wisdom, and abundance. I declare that I am expecting You to show out in my life in ways I have never imagined. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
TODAY’S INSPIRATIONAL MESSAGE: We all go through disappointments, things we don’t understand. We make mistakes, bring trouble on ourselves. We don’t see how we could accomplish our dreams now. We feel like we’re in captivity, we’ve had these bad breaks. That’s not the end of the story. Like with the Israelites, generations back God was working in your behalf.
That bad break can’t stop you, how you were raised, even the mistake you made didn’t catch God off guard. He knew about it. He’s already taken it into account. That’s why you can stay in peace. That’s why you can sleep well at night. You’re not doing life on your own. You’re a part of a much bigger plan. God has purposed things for you that He started generations ago.
God wants to take you where no one in your family has gone. He has influence, opportunity, favor like you’ve never seen. You wouldn’t be hearing this if there wasn’t something bigger, something better coming your way. But with those new levels, there will be new devils. There will be giants on your land, opposition, things you don’t understand, things that are not fair, people that should be for you that are against you. You don’t win these battles with just skill, strength, outmaneuvering. It’s a spiritual battle. They are won with the sword of the Spirit, with declaring God’s promises, with standing in faith, unwavering, unmoved.
